Daytona USA 3 is not like the OT Version of Daytona USA 3. This was a very special version of Daytona USA released in 2002. In it, all of the characters from Farthing Wood are playable, and so are EastEnders characters. The game featured different contestants, each with different reasons to win the Sega World Racing Championship. The game was known for featuring special levels in Farthing Wood and Albert Square. And featured Danny Dyer as a character who drives car number 77.
The game featured a slow rock version of the Farthing Wood theme tune in the name entry screen. And one of the Characters plots was generally depressing, featuring a Character whose dad died in an accident in the previous SWRC.
The game sold millions of units and thousands of arcade versions, making it the highest grossing arcade game ever.
